1. Curation Engines.
If you're doing any blogging at all, then you need to be tapping
into the hundreds of different curation engines that exist online.
These are websites and email newsletters that collect (and syndicate)
the very best content from around the web.
Sites like AllTop.com, AffBuzz.com, GrowthHackers.com, Scoop.it, and
BloggerScope.
This is one of the easiest ways to amplify your content and get
hundreds of extra visitors to EVERY blog post you write.
Here are just a few...
AllTop.com - The Best of the Web on every topic known to man. Find a category
and submit your awesome blog!
Buffer Daily - Getting your content featured here can result in
500 - 1500 retweets. (Bazinga!)
ProductHunt.com - A cool... and slightly addicting :) website that lists
hot new products, websites, and apps daily. Featured sites generally get
a 1,000+ visitors.
LessonPlans.com - Do you have a website for teachers or homeschool parents?
You can submit lesson plans here to get lots of extra traffic. Every lesson
links back to your website.
BloggerScope.com - 65 of the most influential marketing blogs.
Submit your site if you've got what it takes!
Plus, there are also thousands of websites and email newsletters
that do weekly "link roundups" to share their favorite blog posts
from around the web.
The perfect place to get your latest blog post featured :)
To find these traffic honey holes, simply go to Google and use
the following search queries...
"Daily Link Roundup"
"Weekly Link Roundup"
"Monday Link Roundup"
"Friday Link Roundup"
"Link Roundup"
If you want to find blogs specifically related to your market, then add
a modifier...
"Weekly Link Roundup" + moms
"Weekly Link Roundup" + parenting
"Weekly Link Roundup" + fitness
You can also use these same queries on sites like Google Plus or
Twitter Search.
Once you've found 10 related link roundups, contact the blog owner
and send them a link to your latest blog post.
If you've published truly great content, then there's a very good chance
that they will link to you in their weekly link roundup.
